?Gachas dulces? Ingredients: 500 g of flour
125 g of hard bread
2 litres of warm water
4 tablespoons of honey
200 ml of olive oil
1 teaspoon of anisette Preparation: Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan.
Add chunks of the bread when the oil is hot. Remove and drain them on some kitchen paper when they have browned. Put to one side.
Strain the oil to clean it and put half back in the frying pan, with the flour and the anisette.
Fry until it browns and then pour in half of the warm water little by little.
Add the sugar.
Add the rest of the water and stir until it thickens.
Serve with the fried bread with honey on top or sprinkled with ground cinnamon.
