Nearly 85% of adults with skin problems have used complementary and alternative medicine within the past year, according to a report published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Adults with skin problems were more likely than others to use alternative or complementary medicine, although a much smaller percentage use it specifically to treat skin problems.
